About Us

Not your average software development firm.

At ECAD Labs we help our clients build the future by creating, maintaining and optimizing world class blockchain tooling and infrastructure.

Our success is built on trust and a rock solid reputation for service, candour and high quality products that respect and empathize with our clients and users.

Founded in 2012 in Vancouver, British Columbia, ECAD Labs maintains a full-service engineering, testing and infrastructure team that is passionate about what we do and who we work with.

Historically, ECAD Labs was deeply involved in the VOIP and networking space. We continue to work with clients in these and other technology stacks.

In 2018, ECAD Labs created the open-source Taquito Typescript Library for the then-fledging Tezos blockchain protocol.

What initially started as a small after-hours blockchain tooling passion project became the dominant web application development tool for the entire Tezos blockchain ecosystem. The Taquito Typescript library is now used by most Tezos applications and dApps.

Today, ECAD Labs is a core Tezos ecosystem partner delivering regular product updates and supporting numerous development teams with generous support from the Tezos Foundation.

We also work with blockchains and partners in the Cosmos and EVM ecosystems and are supporters of modular blockchains such as Celestia and novel solutions such as those proposed by Namada/Anoma.
